Correcting a shadow color cast

Sometimes there is a remaining color cast in the shadow areas, even after the highlight white balance is adjusted using the Temperature and Tint sliders. The Calibrate tab has a Shadow Tint slider to correct this remaining shadow color cast.
To remove a color cast in the shadows:
  1. Make sure the Camera Raw dialog box is in Advanced Mode.
  2. In the Calibrate tab, move the Shadow Tint slider to remove the color cast in the shadows. The colors that the Shadow Tint slider adjusts depends on your camera's sensor and the white balance. Usually, moving the slider to the left (negative values) adds green to the shadow areas, and moving the slider to the right (positive values) adds magenta.
