Flagging files is a flexible way for you to
quickly reduce a large number of files into a smaller, more manageable
group. You can choose to view only flagged files, or unflagged files.
For
example, if you've just imported a large number of images, you can then
view the files in the File Browser. You can review each new image you
have, and then flag the images you want to keep. After this initial
pass, you can view only files you've flagged, then drag images around
to group or rank them, or apply metadata.
When
you view different folders, the File Browser always shows you both
Flagged and Unflagged files until you choose another option.
Flagging files
Select one or more files you want to flag. Click the Flag File button . The flag icon appears at the bottom right of the thumbnail.
Unflagging files
Select the flagged file, and then click the Flag File button.
Viewing only flagged files
Select Flagged Files from the Show menu next to the Location bar. You can also choose View > Flagged Files.
Viewing only unflagged files
Select Unflagged Files from the Show menu, or choose View > Unflagged Files.
Viewing all files
Select Flagged and Unflagged Files from the Show menu, or choose View > Flagged and Unflagged Files.
