The Keyword palette lets you create and apply
keywords to files. Using keywords, you can group files together by
their content. You can then view groups of files using the keywords.
Keywords are organized in sets called categories.
Adding keyword to files
Select
one or more files. In the Keywords palette, click the box next to the
name of the keyword you want to add, or double-click the keyword. A
check mark appears in the box next to the keyword when it's added to a
file.
Adding a set of keywords to files
Select
one or more files. In the Keywords palette, click the box next to the
name of the keyword group, or double-click the keyword group. A check
mark appears in the box next to the keyword group when it's added to a
file.
You may want to create a group of keywords you frequently use so you can apply them as a group.
Removing keywords from a file
Select the file, and then click the box next to the name of the keyword you want to remove, or double-click the keyword.
Creating a new keyword
Click the New Keyword button . Name your keyword, and then click OK.
Creating a new keyword set
Click the New Keyword Set button . Name the keyword group, and then click OK.
Renaming a keyword or category
Select the keyword or category and then click the inverted triangle to display the palette menu. Choose Rename from the menu, and then enter a new name for the keyword or category.
When
you rename a keyword, the keyword's name isn't changed in files that
currently contain it. The original name stays in the file.
Recategorizing a keyword
Click and drag the keyword into another category.
Deleting a keyword
Select the keyword by clicking its name, and then click the Delete Keyword button .
Keywords that you get from other users appear in the Other Keywords category until you recategorize them.
