Commands in the Automate menu in the File
Browser help you quickly produce things like picture packages and
Photomerge compositions using photos you select in the File Browser.
Running these tasks from the File Browser saves you a lot of time,
because you don't have to open each individual file.
To run an automated task:
- Select the files you want to use. (See Selecting and opening images.)
- Choose a command from the Automate menu:
Batch
Loads the Photoshop Batch dialog box so you can play an action on the folders you're viewing in the File Browser. (See Using the Batch command (Photoshop).)
PDF Presentation
Loads
the PDF Presentation dialog box so you can use the images selected in
the File Browser to create a slide show, presentation, or document in
one multi-paged PDF document (see Creating a PDF presentation).
Contact Sheet II
Starts the Contact Sheet dialog box so you can print a series of thumbnail previews on a single page (see Creating contact sheets).
Online Services
Order prints of your images from online service providers (see Using online services).
Photomerge
Combines the files selected in the File Browser into one continuous image. (See Creating panoramic images using Photomerge (Photoshop).)
Picture Package
Prints
out multiple copies of the source image selected in the File Browser on
a single page, similar to the photo packages traditionally sold by
portrait studios (see Creating picture packages).
Web Photo Gallery
Automatically
generate a Web photo gallery from the images you've selected in the
File Browser. A Web photo gallery is a Web site that features a home
page with thumbnail images and gallery pages with full-size images (see Creating Web photo galleries (Photoshop)).
